Roof Dryer Vent Cleaning in Dallas, TX

Why does the roof vent matter more than the wall vent?
Because lint has to climb. A roof termination sits at the end of a long attic run from an interior laundry room, common in 1990s-2020s two-story builds, often 25-40 ft away with two or three elbows. Every elbow costs airflow. Warm moist exhaust slows down, cools against attic framing, and lint sticks where it sags. In winter that condensation packs the low spots solid. Cleaning from inside the laundry closet alone rarely reaches that.
The work is done from both ends. A rotating brush runs the duct, and the roof jack is opened and cleared by hand. Roof jacks here fail in predictable ways. Flappers stick open or go missing. Bird and wasp nests build inside. Screened hoods clog fast and should not be screened at all.
The duct itself gets inspected while we are up there. Attic heat makes foil duct brittle and cracked. Expansive clay soil moves the frame, and joints pull apart above the ceiling. A disconnected run dumps lint and moisture into insulation.
Roof height, pitch and shingle condition drive the labor more than the cleaning does. Steep or slick roofs take longer and sometimes need different access.
Long roof runs generally do better on a 6-9 month interval than the usual 12.
What happens after you call us
Call and tell me what your dryer is doing. I'll ask where the vent exits and give you a 90 minute arrival window, usually same week.
I show up and look at the run from the dryer to the outside hood. You get the price before a tool comes off the truck, including any crushed duct or broken hood.
I clean the full run, reconnect the dryer, run a cycle to check airflow at the hood, and vacuum up the lint I pulled. You pay the number I quoted at the door, nothing added at the end.
